Our Webhosting

We started hosting websites because we needed a place to host our own. We’re not a big hosting company. On the contrary; we’re a small informal bunch doing what we do best, designing and developing web-applications. And we’re pretty good at hosting them too!

We run Dell PowerEdge-servers with CentOS 4.*. Our little farm is located in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) at the XS4all-datacenter. We have RAID-1 redundant disk-setups, weekly backup-schedules and a very unfriendly Cisco Pix firewall guarding all traffic.

Plesk 8.1We use Plesk 8 control panel for webhosting, which means our clients have a great tool for managing their domain-, database- and email-settings. It also means we provide excellent (Horde/IMP) webmail-functionality, SpamAssassin for spam-detection and Webalizer/AWstat web-statistics.

All prices are monthly and include 19% VAT/BTW. Our minimum contract length is three months. Open contracts may be canceled upon one month notice. We use Blinksale to send monthly recurring invoices.

For starters, perfect for hosting a small static website or parking a newly registered domain:
1 domain, 15MB diskspace, 5 (web)mailboxes, 5GB/month datalimit.

€ 10,– Small domain – PHP

All you need for a small dynamic website: 1 domain with PHP4, 1 MySQL database, 150MB diskspace, 10 (web)mailboxes, 15GB/month datalimit.

€ 15,– Small domain – Ruby on Rails

A cool Ruby on Rails setup: 1 mod_fcgi-enabled domain, 1 MySQL database, 150MB diskspace, 10 (web)mailboxes, 15GB/month datalimit.

€ 20,– Medium domain – PHP

For a medium-sized dynamic website: 1 domain with PHP4, 2 subdomains, 2 MySQL databases, 300MB diskspace, 20 (web)mailboxes, 30GB/month datalimit.

€ 25,– Medium domain – Ruby on Rails

For a medium-sized Rails application: 1 mod_fcgi-enabled domain set up for Rails, 2 subdomains, 2 MySQL databases, 300MB diskspace, 20 (web)mailboxes, 30GB/month datalimit.

€ 30,– Large domain – PHP

Now we’re talking, a large dynamic website: 1 domain with PHP4, 4 subdomains, 3 MySQL databases, 500MB diskspace, 30 (web)mailboxes, 50GB/month datalimit.

€ 35,– Large domain – Ruby on Rails

Any bigger than this and you probably should go dedicated. For a large Rails application: 1 mod_fcgi-enabled domain set up for Rails, 4 subdomains, 3 MySQL databases, 500MB diskspace, 30 (web)mailboxes, 50GB/month datalimit.
